In September, Gen Demo traveled to Arizona to attend the NKT International Fall Festival and received teachings based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso's new book The Mirror of Dharma - with Additions: how to find the real meaning of human life.

The theme for the festival was ‘finding the sun of the supreme happiness of enlightenment’ and is 'open to anyone who wishes to learn how to use the scientific methods of modern Buddhism to solve their daily life problems, enjoy lasting inner peace, and eventually attain the supreme happiness of full enlightenment'.

In this half-day course Gen Demo will distill the essence of these teachings and meditations and share them with us in Palmerston North.

The course is appropriate both to those who are new to Buddhism and meditation, as well as those who have more experience.
