Start your day with intention and flow! Explore the 5 elements, wood, fire, earth, metal & water, as found in Classical Chinese Medicine, with movement and breath.

Inspired by nature, this 5-week introductory course beautifully combines Qi-gong sequences and yoga. Join Hannah Gease, Qi-gong practitioner and Yoga teacher, in a fun and embodied exploration of a new element each week.

Over the duration of the course you will gain knowledge in simple Qi-gong practices which can also be used to nourish and ground yourself at any given time. Yoga poses, movement and awareness exercise’s will also be incorporated in to the sessions so as to gain understanding of what the elements feel like in the body.

In the tradition of classical Chinese Medicine, each element is correlated with:
- a specific organ system
- a number of energy meridians
- a season
- a particular emotion
- a virtue – which arises from that particular emotion.

From this perspective, health and vitality are established by finding a balanced relationship to the five elements and one’s ability to move through these various energies with ease.

All levels welcome. Mats and props are provided for use but you are also welcome to bring your own.
